One bus stop away from insanity

Word has it that the other candidate and I were a dead tie in the eyes of the superintendents. So now the choice goes back to the high school principal, who will make a decision in the next 24 hours and notify us.

I'm losing it here. At this point, I just want to know if they want me or not. I just need an answer. I'm doing my best to keep busy here at home, but if I have more than ten seconds unoccupied, my thoughts automatically veer back to the job and I feel myself getting all tense. I haven't eaten much today. Gaaaah, I just want to know!!
